The constant, Biblical core beliefs that drive our ministry.
We believe that as God’s Word, the Bible, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ that it contains, influences everything we do as a church. We place a high priority on helping others understand these truths and look to them to guide every aspect of our lives and ministry (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:20-21; Heb. 4:12).
As people of The Word, we are rescued by God’s grace and love which are poured on us through Christ. We worship God together through Biblical instruction, musical praise, prayer, and giving. We also worship God individually by reading the Bible, praying and leading sacrificial lives (Rom. 12:1-2; Jn. 4:23-24; Ps. 150).
As people of the Word, we value equipping others to be mature followers of Christ who live a life transformed by faith. We do this primarily through Biblical teaching and practical application (2 Tim. 3:16-17; Eph. 4:11-13).
As people of the Word, we are captivated by the redemption story of Jesus Christ and seek to share it first with our families, second with our communities, third with our nation, and fourth with our world (Acts 1:8; Matt. 28:19).
As people of the Word, we recognize that we are part of the corporate body of Jesus Christ and aim to love each other as we would our family members. We strive to make everyone feel welcome and connected to our church family (Acts 2:42-47; John 13:34-35; Heb. 10:24-25).
As people of the Word, we value serving each other and our community as modeled by Jesus Christ. We want our personal relationships with God through Christ to overflow in ministry to others (Phil. 2:1-11; Mark 12:30-31; Gal. 5:13-15).
