Awana is a club for children in grades 5 Kindergarten through 6th grade . It meets every Monday evening during the school year at 6pm in the church’s gym. Awana stands for Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed and gets its name from II Timothy 2:15 where it says, “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” During club, children learn more about God through weekly devotions and lessons (which include Scripture memorization). They also play games and earn rewards* by completing their lessons.

What to Bring to Awana
We ask that each clubber bring their Bible, handbook, uniform and gym shoes. After youth complete their initial entrance booklet into their specific club, they will be an official club member and will be qualified to purchase and wear a club uniform and to being working in a club handbook. There is a charge for both the uniform and the handbook (below). The entrance booklets are a one time requirement for each club. After passing each, they will be able to continue in their respective books.
Fees:
- Club Dues $20 per club year
- Handbooks $11 each
- Uniforms: Sparky vests: $10 each
- T&T shirts: $14 each
- Bibles: $5 each
